Music is an infinitely subjective art form and the final product is the culmination of the seemingly endlessly choices that are made when creating it. As an artist it can be very daunting trying to navigate all of these decisions while still maintaining your creative edge. Having a producer to help guide and shape your music is an essential part of the record making process. Production is a very broad term that could mean literally anything, but to me it means making sure artist gets whatever their music needs to connect with the listener. And I take great pleasure in identifying what that is and not only meeting the artist’s expectations, but also expanding the scope of their musical understanding along the way.
